When it comes to shoes, everyone is very familiar with them. Whether at home or going out, we need to wear shoes every day. But do you know how a pair of shoes is made? Next, let's take a look at the birth process of a pair of shoes.
Shoe Manufacturing Process
1. Design
Designers draw flat design drawings based on their sources of inspiration and design concepts, considering color matching and material combinations during the design process.

2. Sole Production
After the design is completed, designers send the design drawings and shoe-making data to the sole factory for mold opening and production according to different sole materials and shapes.

3. Last Making
The last is the matrix of the shoe and the molding mold of the shoe. The last not only determines the shape and style of the shoe, but also determines whether the shoe fits the foot and can protect the foot.

4. Material Accessories
Before making shoes, we first need to prepare the required materials, including upper materials, linings, accessories, insoles and outsoles.

5. Pattern Making
Through professional calculations, the pattern maker draws and cuts on the paper pattern according to the design style and size requirements.

6. Cutting
The made paper pattern is covered on the corresponding shoe-making materials, and the shoe-making materials are cut into upper parts, lining parts, sole parts and other parts of predetermined shapes and specifications.

7. Skiving
Skiving workers evenly thin the splicing parts of the shoe upper to facilitate sewing.

8. Lining Attachment
Before splicing, workers need to attach the lining to the shoe upper to make the shoes more comfortable and strong.

9. Upper Making
The shoe upper is sewn together by a sewing machine.

10. Midsole Nailing
Workers use air guns to nail the midsole to the last, and then process and make it to effectively combine the upper and the midsole.

11. Gluing
The edge of the upper is evenly glued.

12. Heating
Heat the shoes to make them malleable and able to fit the last better.

13. Lasting
The lasting machine wraps the edge of the shoe from below, evenly clamping and straightening it.

14. Reheating
Workers put the shoes into a vulcanizing machine for heating and shaping.

15. Midsole Gluing
The sole and upper are connected and bonded with glue. Workers apply glue under the midsole to bond the sole.

16. Sole Pressing
In order to make the sole and upper more tightly connected, workers put the shoes into a pressing machine to press the sole.

17. Cold Setting
After the shoes are made, they are finally put into a cold setting machine for whole shoe setting.
